This wormlike fish measures nearly thirty feet from tip to tail. Its face is a terrible circular maw of grinding teeth, with two beady eyes peering out from the crown of its head. Large spines rise from its sinuous back, shuddering and rattling with menace.
Urol is delighted to see them, as he informs you they like to hide among the coral reefs using their powerful jaws to burrow out tunnels, so we are very lucky to observe them so close. “Those quills along their backs have a deadly venom by the way. It’s best not to provoke them.”
